Yogi Adityanath’s real name is Ajay Singh. He was born in a Rajput family of Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. His father’s name is Anand Singh and mother’s name is Savitri Singh. His primary education started from 1977. In 1987, he passed the 10th class examination. In 1989, he passed the intermediate examination from Bharat Intermediate Inter College.
After passing 12th examination, he came to All India Council for graduation in 1990. In 1992, he obtained B.Sc degree in Mathematics from Hemwati Nandan University but due to all his papers being stolen in Kotdwar, he could not fulfill his desire of post graduation in Science.
Yet, when Yogi ji reached Gorakhpur in 1993 to complete his Mathematics MSc, the Ram Temple was at a controversial level in North India. Where he met Mahant Aalid Nath. Mahant Avaidyanath and the Ram Mandir movement had such a great impact on him that he retired in 1994 at the age of just 22. And since then Ajay Singh started being known as Yogi Adityanath.

Hindu Yuva Vahini is an organization of only Hindus founded by Yogi Adityanath. The police accused this organization of the riots that took place in Mau in 2005. In this riot, this Hindu party had rioted against an MLA named Mukhtar Ansari, who was accused of murdering Krishnananda Rai, a Bharatiya Janata Party MLA. After winning the parliamentary elections from 1998-2004, he took up the responsibility of Community of food, Civil supply, and Ministry of Home affairs.
After winning the parliamentary elections in 2009, he took the responsibility of Transport, Tourism and Culture. After this, again in 2014, he became a Lok Sabha MP by winning the 16th parliamentary elections from Gorakhpur seat. Yogi Adityanath’s presence in this Lok Sabha was 77 percent. Where he asked 284 questions, participated in 56 debates and passed three important bills.

After this incident, the immediate District Magistrate and the local police chief were transferred. After that many mosques, houses, buses and trains were set on fire in Gorakhpur.
